As many as 1.2 million Canadian youth are struggling with mental illness, and most of these young people aren’t receiving the care they need.  These statistics made me realize there’s probably someone in my circle — and in yours — who’s living in pain. I’m participating in RBC Race for the Kids for the 9th year in a row (thanks for your support in previous years!). RBC Race for the Kids is a charity fundraising race that supports youth mental health through the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook, an innovative program that connects young people struggling with mental illness and addiction to the help they need. And it's 100% funded by donations from people like us.
