Welcome to my participant page for the 2024 RBC Race for the Kids!
This year, I'll be taking part in a charity 5K walk/run on Saturday September 21st at North York Centre to support resources for youth mental health.
I am passionate about long distance running and I have experienced myself the positive mental and physical impact of regularly running.
Did you know as many as 1.2 million Canadian youth are struggling with mental illness? 4 out of 5 of these young people aren’t receiving the care they need from professionals. The pandemic exposed the need for quality care among all young Canadians.
During the summer, I will be raising money for the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook Hospital, an innovative program that connects young people struggling with mental illness and addiction to the help they desperately need.
The Family Navigation Project is 100% funded by donations from caring people like you. Your donation through my fundraising page helps ensure that young people and their families find the mental health care services they need.
I believe we all benefit when we help young people. When you make a donation through RBC Race for the Kids, you’re supporting a life-changing program that allows youth in our community to get help for mental illness so they can reach their potential.
Thank you so much for your support of the Family Navigation Project and RBC Race for the Kids.
