Welcome to my fundraising page!
I am so pleased to be joining our RBC Race for the Kids yet again. As some of you may know, our son was born very premature at Sunnybrook Hospital where we had the most supportive team of doctors and nurses. My wife and I lived in the NICU for 4+ months under their care before we were able to finally bring our son home. For that, I am forever grateful to the hospital and it has been a family tradition that we participate in the RBC Race for the Kids in support of Sunnybrook Hospital and their many programs that assist our youth and kids.
Did you know as many as 1.2 million Canadian youth are struggling with mental illness? I was shocked to learn that 4 out of 5 of these young people aren’t receiving the care they need. These statistics made me realize there’s probably someone in my circle — and in yours — who’s living in pain.
I’m raising money for the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook, an innovative program that connects young people struggling with mental illness and addiction to the help they desperately need.
The Family Navigation Project is 100% funded by donations from caring people like you.
Your donation through my fundraising page helps ensure that young people and their families find the mental health care services they need.
I believe we all benefit when we help young people. When you make a donation through RBC Race for the Kids, you’re supporting a life-changing program that allows youth in our community to get help for mental illness so they can reach their potential.
Thank you so much for your support of the Family Navigation Project and RBC Race for the Kids.
