Mental health issues among children and adolescents are a growing concern. Studies show that 1 in 5 young people will experience a mental health challenge by the time they reach adulthood. These issues can range from anxiety and depression to more severe conditions, impacting their ability to learn, interact socially, and enjoy life.
Early Intervention is crucial. By addressing mental health concerns early, we can provide children with the tools and support they need to thrive. However, many families struggle with the costs and access to quality mental health care. This is where your support makes a difference.
I felt compelled to do something so I’m participating in RBC Race for the Kids, a charity fundraising race that supports youth mental health.
I’m raising money for the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook, an innovative program that connects young people struggling with mental illness and addiction to the help they desperately need.
The Family Navigation Project is 100% funded by donations from caring people like you.
I believe we all benefit when we help young people. When you make a donation through RBC Race for the Kids, you’re supporting a life-changing program that allows youth in our community to get help for mental illness so they can reach their potential.
Thank you so much for your support of the Family Navigation Project and RBC Race for the Kids.
