I'm taking part in Race for Kids - an exciting event that brings people together to bring awareness and raise funds for as many as 1.25 million youth in Canada who is experiencing some form of mental health problem? 3 out of 5 of these young people will not receive the treatment they need.
Why I'm racing
I believe every youth should have the treatment that they need to develop into a healthy being who can contribute to the society.
Specifically, I’m raising money for Sunnybrook's Family Navigation Project. This free service connects youth aged 11 to 29 experiencing mental health and addictions issues, and their families, with clinically trained navigators who help them access the services they need, when they need it.
The Family Navigation Project is 100% funded by donations from caring people like you.
Your donation through my fundraising page helps ensure that young people and their families find the mental health care and addiction services they need.
My Goal:
I'm aiming to raise $200 for this cause. Every dollar makes a difference, and no donation is too small.
