Did you know that as many as 1.25 million youth in Canada will experience a mental health challenge? Even more jarring: 3 out of 5 of these young people won’t receive the treatment they need. That means someone in our daily lives—a neighbor, a friend's child, or someone in our own family—might be struggling in silence.
I wanted to do my part to change that. On September 19, I’m participating in the RBC Race for the Kids at Mel Lastman Square to support youth mental health programs at Sunnybrook.
Sunnybrook plays a critical role in breaking down barriers to care, connecting young people and their families directly with vital mental health and addiction services when time matters most.
Every dollar raised helps expand these life-saving programs so no young person has to navigate mental health challenges alone.
If you are able, please consider donating through my page to support timely, compassionate care for youth across the province. Whether you donate or come out to join me for the 2K/5K on race day, thank you so much for backing this cause.
